Check in and check out
You can stay in your room from 15:00 PM. Ask our reception for an early check-in at 12:00PM (€ 35,-/room) including a welcome drink!
At 11:00 at the latest we ask you to check out. If you would like to stay a bit longer, this is possible, as long as we have rooms available. For € 25,- you don't have to return the key until 14:00 hrs.
You can leave your belongings in our luggage storage if you want to do a round of Middelburg before check-in or after check-out.
The most exclusive businesses work with reservations... Although Zeeuwen often remain sober, we do the same now. This way everyone can have breakfast at their leisure, with enough space around them. We work with time blocks, so that we can guarantee a place for all our guests.
For hotel guests breakfast is included.
At check-in a table is reserved for all days of the stay at one of the available times (between 08.00 and 9.30 am). If you want to be sure that a table is available at the desired time, please specify the time in the comments field when making the reservation.
We will take your order and serve everything. A three-course breakfast that starts with coffee or tea, fresh orange juice, milk or a vegetable smoothie, a croissant, fresh fruit and a breakfast amuse. Followed by something sweet or savory, such as buttery scrambled eggs with salsa of white beans, tomatoes, dill and almond (with or without salmon or pork belly of livar) or hot oatmeal of soy milk with fried apple, raisins, cinnamon and a spoonful of coconut yoghurt. With a ginger shot and homemade cake, this beginning of the day ends in style.
Restaurant The Green Room
Our restaurant The Green Room is open 7 days a week* for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
*During the summer holidays (July 13th - September 1st '21) The Green Room will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Thursday up to and including Monday and we close the restaurant after breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Reservation, change & cancellation
Good to know: booking through our own website rather than an online travel agent will save you at least 10% night. Keep an eye on our newsletter for offers, promotions and discount codes.
Would you like to change your reservations? Check the terms and conditions of your booking. Your online travel agent can help you with that. If you booked directly with us, then we will sort it out for you. Do you have to cancel your entire stay with us? With our flexible rates, that poses no problems: up to 1 week before arrival, you can cancel your stay free of charge. Would you like to have more flexibility? Feel free to book our rebooking guarantee! This allows you to change your reservation free of charge to another period within the cancellation period up to 2 days before arrival*.
* In case of rebooking to a more expensive period, we will charge the additional price.
* It is not possible to book 'rebooking guarantee' with the non-refundable rate. The conditions of the non-refundable rate will overrule.
* Are you booking several rooms at the same time? Then we would recommend you to also book the rebooking guarantee several times (this applies per room).

Groups and children
Our Family Fig and Family Loft rooms are suited for a company of four. In all of our rooms except for the Tiny Oaks we can place baby cots (€ 17,50/night, subject to availability). In case you haven’t celebrated your 18th birthday yet, then you’re welcome to stay with us only in the presence of your parents or primary caretakers.

From 8am to 9pm, your host at the front desk is ready to help you with whatever you need. In search of an iron and ironing board? Did you forget your toothbrush or shaving kit? Or would your jacket benefit from a quick trip to the drycleaner’s? We’ll take care of it for you.
In case of emergency, you can also reach us at night. Simply call our main phone number.
If, for whatever reason, you’re not fully satisfied with our service, then the front desk is the place to go with your concerns. We’ll do all we can to make things better. Every day, we come by your room for cleaning. After three nights, we’ll also arrange for clean sheets. If you’d like a clean towel, drop the dirty one on the floor and we’ll get you a fresh one.
Do you worry about the ecological footprint that comes with all these laundry baskets and detergents? Would you therefore like to use your sheets and towels a little longer? That’s fine! Let us know when booking or arriving. What’s more, we’ll donate the resources we’re saving straight to our Tree Fund: € 1,50/Per person per night. It’s not much, but it adds up
Cars and the city centre… No happy combo. Our four parking spots are intended for EVs and vehicles with disability parking permits.
Cityhotel Wood facilitates four electric power points (based on availability) for charging your electric car. For charging your car at one of our Ecotap charging stations you pay 0,25/KwH. You need to be in possession of a charging card.
If you are not yet in possession of a charging card, you can apply for a card via Ecotap.
Looking for a parking spot near the hotel? We recommend the Achter de Houttuinen parking garage or the Hof van Tange car park. Parking tickets for Hof van Tange are available at the front desk for € 10,60,-/day. Those are only 1-2 minutes away by foot. Another option is the Cycle Hub (Oude Veerseweg). Parking is free and it is possible to hire a Bike at the Hub.
If you arrive by truck or bus, we advise you to park on the Loskade (paid parking). The Loskade is about a 15-minute walk away.
Your dog is welcome at WOOD, too. For € 19,50/night, we’ll arrange everything for you and your dog: water, dog biscuits and a dog box spring of course! Less animal-friendly guests (with or without allergies) may rest assured: the rooms suitable for dogs are all located in the souterrain. And the hotel will never turn into a zoo, because only one dog per room is allowed. House rules have been drawn up to keep any nuisance to a minimum.

In our hotel, you can pay by cash or by card. We accept all major creditcards (Maestro, VPay, Visa, MasterCard and AmEx). Advance payment with iDeal is possible, too.
